The Forty and Eight, a military fraternal order that meets in the American Legion, has announced that several $1,000 scholarships are available for nursing students this fall. The scholarships are available for students enrolled in a certified nursing program working toward an RN or LPN certificate. Proof of enrollment will be required. Generally, pre-nursing does not qualify nor do related fields such as radiology or physical therapy. Pre-nursing students are encouraged to apply now for next year.
